Okotoks-Preeschool-Oral-Health-Program

Okotoks Preschool Oral Health Program

The Okotoks Preschool Oral Health Program is free thanks to the Calgary Rural Primary Care Network and Alberta Health Services. This program is available for all children of Okotoks between the ages 12 to 35 months.

Each visit will include:

• Dental checks

• Fluoride varnish to help prevent cavities

• A visit with a dental professional who will talk about ways to help protect your
   child’s teeth

• Answers to any questions that you may have about your child’s dental health.

The Canadian Dental Association recommends that infants are seen by a dentist within 6 months of the first visible tooth, or by the time they are 12 months.

Please note that the Okotoks Oral Health Program DOES NOT replace regular visits to your family dentist.

If you child is between the age of 12 months and 35 months and lives in the town of Okotoks, please phone to book an appointment (403) 995 - 2662
